Car Show

Annual Dancin’ and Cruisin’ Classic Car Show

New Location – Apple Valley American Legion 1776

Where: Apple Valley American Legion 1776
14521 Granada Dr, Apple Valley, MN 55124

Time: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Cars should arrive between 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
No cars will be registered until 4:00 pm
Awards will be presented at 8:30 pm

Car Entry Fee: $20
Proceeds go towards our fundraising efforts.

Includes t-shirt, dash plaque, and first 150 vehicles receive a “goodie bag”. Awards will be presented.

Music at The Legion at 8 p.m. with the Chad Johnson Trio. Music will include originals and covers from the likes of Johnny Cash, Van Morrison and the Gin Blossoms. More it at http://chadjohnsonmusic.com
Food is served in the back parking lot by the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Carnival rides return to Freedom Days! Hip, hip, hooray for a late change to the schedule. A carnival has been added for Thursday, July 3, 2-9:30 p.m. and Friday, July 4, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Johnny Cake Ridge Park. There will be a $25 armband special Thursday, 5-9 p.m. At other times, ride tickets are $1 each. Rides take four to six tickets each.

Red, White and Barbecue:

Time: 11 a.m.

Where: American Legion Post 1776, 14521 Granada Drive.

What: BBQ Half Chicken Meals $14 or new 1/3 rack of fire roasted St. Louis ribs $15 – both items served with mac & cheese, cole slaw, and corn bread, starting at 11 a.m. Brats and hot dogs served by Post 1776 Auxiliary. Beverages for all ages. Music by Vinnie Rose starting at 10:30 a.m.

Apple Valley Freedom Days Parade:

Time: 1:00PM

Where: Pennock Ave at Fireside Dr (south of County Rd 42) – click here for a map of the parade route

The parade starts at Fireside Drive and Pennock Avenue
The parade ends on Hayes Rd next to Apple Valley High School
